My two greatest health challenges – back pain and anxiety – have inspired my twenty-seven years of study and practice in alternative health. In searching to understand the cause of my own problems, I discovered the complexity of illness. What I offer in my work today is a combination of complementary modalities including, Ayurvedic Medicine, Massage Therapy, Bio-energy Balancing and Rosen Emotional Bodywork whose therapeutic potentials are maximized when used in synergy.
My own emotional healing began in 1990 in the Re-evaluation Co-counseling community in which I am still involved. Today I combine my dedication to emotional work with my life long commitment to dance through emotional movement. Besides attending movement classes and workshops, over the years I have completed trainings related to my interest in health and healing.
Originally born and raised in the UK, I retain my love for and connection to Europe through Croatia. Besides travel, my other hobbies include learning the guitar, hiking, sailing, writing and completing an invention I began with a colleague in 2005 to help others and myself in the alternative health field.
The Midtown Natural Health facility was a cooperative, located in Palo Alto, California. Originally established in 1990 at our previous address on University avenue. In 2000 the original group was disbanded, except for Sandy, Aiyana and myself, when we moved to Midtown Palo Alto. Now we have relocated again to independent addresses in Palo Alto where we remain in close contact and continue to refer clients to each other.
